BAND-RESISTED

EXPLOSIVE BACK SQUAT

Description
  • ATTACH TWO SEPARATE BANDS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE RACK OR WEIGHTS ON ONE END, AND TO EACH END OF THE BARBELL ON THE OTHER END

  • UNRACK THE BARBELL AND STEP BACK UNTIL THE BANDS ARE COMPLETELY VERTICAL ON EACH END OF THE BARBELL

  • SLOWLY LOWER YOURSELF INTO A SQUAT, CONTRACTING THE GLUTES AND HAMSTRINGS AND KEEPING YOUR CHEST UP AND KNEES OUT

  • DRIVE THROUGH YOUR QUADS TO COMPLETE THE SQUAT AND RETURN TO YOUR START POSITION
