Step 1: Create your Team

So you've bought your Teams plan... Now what?


  1. After you have successfully purchased your team plan, you will have access to one or more teams from your Team Toggle page.


Open the Team Toggle page by going to proformapp.com/teams and making sure that your are logged into the account which you have purchased the Team Plan. You may want to save this tab to your favorites for easy future access.





You can do this by click the star (☆) symbol in the top right of your browser, which adds this link to your favorites


If you are on a team plan with just one Team, skip to step 2.-B.


2.-A. Now, you'll want to add your organizations details.


The site will ask for your Organization's name, Logo, Your Coaching Display name and your Address. Each of these fields is required.


2.-B. Now, you'll want to create your first team!


To create your first team, scroll to the bottom of the Team Toggle page (proformapp.com/teams) and select Create Team.


*If you don't have any teams purchased or left on your package, this will prompt you to upgrade to add more teams or to purchase a Teams Plan.


Once you have successfully added a team, it will ask for the following details:


  1. Team Name

  2. Team Logo

  3. Coach's Display Name (this is how your name will display on printables and reports)


Once you've successfully added this information, you will be redirected to the Team's Dashboard where you can start customizing your Team's experience.


Setting your preferences:


You may want to set your preferences right away, or wait. This section will explain the preferences pages and how to change your preferences.


  1. Find the preferences icon from the Team Dashboard for the selected team. This button is to the bottom right of the Team logo at the top of the page. Click the button that looks like a "compose" icon to open your team's preferences.






On this page, you can change your Team's name, logo and choose who can share posts in your Team's bulletin. You will also set your teams itinerary on this page which helps you organize your team's training days and how notifications go out to your players throughout the week, and what is displayed on their team dashboard.





Team Bulletin: you can choose who is able to share posts on the teams bulletin. Your options are:


  1. Admin only: only you can share posts on the bulletin

  2. Coaches and Admin: only coaches you have invited to join the team and yourself can post on the bulletin

  3. Anyone: this allows players and anyone to post. You may want to restrict your players from posting if you are concerned about untimely or inappropriate posts. If so, choose one on the options above.






Change Team Itinerary Settings:


  1. Training Days: your main workouts, usually 3-5 training days are built into your program each week. These are usually on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

  2. Supplemental Days: Programs with these built in are usually done on alternating days to your Training Days. A good Supplemental schedule is done on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and sometimes Sundays.

  3. Cardio Days: For those athletes on a weight-watch list or for regularly scheduled maintenance, cardio days can be scheduled any day of the week, but we see them more often scheduled on Supplemental Days.

  4. Fieldworkout Days: We see fieldworkout days often scheduled on the same days at your Training Days, to be done before or after your workouts. With more open itinerary plans, we see these scheduled on alternating days with Supplementals which replace Cardio days.

Once you've edited your preferences, it's time to Add Coaches and Users.
